The Only Source For True Fulfillment
Matthew 5:6

I am the seventh child of my mother, and the tenth of my father. I was born in Nigeria, in a little village called Itam (Hat). My village is very popular and has earned a long history of integrity and courage. My late father and mother were my first heroes or role models. Papa and Mama were models of honesty, integrity and faith in God.My father was a twin born in 1916 the son of a pagan. According to my grandmother, twin births were rejected and banished from the family home to live in the woods. My grandmother was a powerful influential woman of prayer. She prayed for my grandfather who was not a Christian, and other family members who persecuted and cast her and her children away to the bushes to die. Grandmother shared with me (as a child), that the WORD of God that was spoken to her by the missionaries at the mission church transformed and changed her life and provided a glorious opportunity for her and her twin children. The missionaries were Mr. & Mrs. Westgart, who started a mission church and school. My grandmother and by divine appointment became the cook for the Westgarts, whom God used to change the destiny of our inheritance. Our families were blessed by missionaries that came to West Africa, to Southern Nigeria to teach about Christianity . My father grew up in the mission center and received first class education and training from these wonderful ambassadors who came to provide a better life and HOPE to those who were poor in spirit and distressedLooking back, God has planned out everything for my parents. Mother became daddy's first wife, and daddy went to war during the Second World War. By the time daddy came back, their first child was born. Daddy was not content with his life, and went searching for everything that could satisfy him except the God that his mother prayed to during his early life. He got married to his second wife, who gave birth to four children, and he ended up divorcing her when he was ready to be ordained as an Elder in the Church.My father and mother faithfully loved and served God, and trusted Him for everything in their lives. As the baby in the family, I witnessed miracles in my home growing up, and stated at an earlier age of nine that I would follow Jesus Christ wherever He may lead.Friend, if you are trusting in wealth to make you happy, it never will. If you are longing for husband, wife, or family to make you complete, you will always be disappointed. If you thirst after worldly knowledge to give you fulfillment, there will always be a void. Matthew 5:6 gives us the only source for true fulfillment. It reads, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled ." Stop and think , the only way sinful man can be accounted any measure of righteousness is by being washed in the blood of Jesus Christ . If you are not hungering and thirsting for Jesus, all of your efforts will be in vain. Start this New Year out right. Let Jesus Christ become the LORD of your life.
